The modular ASTRO head-end components are based on our decades of experience in the development of high-end systems for signal conversion and offer solutions for every application situation. The Direct Digital technology ensures first-class output parameters for the plug-in modules.

State-of-the-art manufacturing processes and constant quality controls guarantee excellent quality and operational reliability. Current standards, such as DVB-T2, have already been taken into account in many signal converters and make it easier for you to switch to the latest technology in TV transmission technology. The configuration of the X- and V-series can be done via the HE programming software

The X-Series is guaranteed future-proof thanks to the flexible modular concept. The outstanding features are the easy handling and the simple expansion possibilities. The X-8 and X-2 base units accommodate easily insertable and exchangeable plug-in modules, which allow mixed assembly with analog and digital output signals. The complete system is accommodated in a compact metal housing. The plug-in cards of the X series offer proven technology and a wide range of application possibilities through flexible assembly.

The main area of application for the X-Series is in small to medium-sized cable networks such as residential complexes, hospitals, hotels, retirement homes, etc. The very good price/performance ratio of the X-Series allows it to be used in smaller networks, but - thanks to the good system parameters - it can also be used in larger BK networks without hesitation. Two basic units are available. The particularly compact X-2 unit with two slots and the larger X-8 unit with eight slots for X-series cards.

Sophisticated technology for professional applications: The continuous development of the proven V-Series has resulted in a complete system solution for almost all applications.
The V 16 base unit can accommodate up to 8 V-Series signal converters and is also compatible with all X-Series modules.

The V 16 Base is available in different versions, but the main features are common to all variants: 19" housing, 7 height units, temperature controlled fans, 20 dB measuring point at the output, LED status display on the front panel and a lockable front panel to prevent unauthorized access to the unit. The pluggable signal converters of the V series were developed for professional signal processing in connection with the V 16 base unit. Thanks to optional channel-selective output filters, these modules offer excellent parameters after merging and can therefore be used in the largest cable networks.
