Latest ASTRO streamers in the Network Operation Center at SES / streamers with BISS / QAM Box eco

The June issue of Cable Vision reports on the following topics:

Another successful project work of ASTRO with the satellite operator SES leads to an extremely space-saving Network Operation Center with streamers of the latest generation from ASTRO.

The streamers now offer the possibility to decrypt BISS encrypted streams. The so-called "Basic Interoperable Scrambling System" is used to encrypt satellite signals for transmission.

Solution for the planned SD shutdown of the public broadcasters: the compact headend of ASTRO: QAM BOX eco. ASTRO's customer service and planning department also help with complex planning to make existing systems HD-compatible.
