70 years ASTRO – ANGA COM 2017
Cologne – ANGA COM 2017 took place with many news – new fair halls with more room height and natural day light. Also new, the booth from ASTRO Strobel Kommunikationssysteme. The 70 years anniversary was celebrated with a complete new booth concept. Many of the 18.000 ANGA COM visitors came to the ASTRO booth. The open, clear and bright stand-concept with a very interesting mixture of news, system-information and important trade topics as well as review on 7 decades of ASTRO history got numerous positive feedbacks. Focus was set on IP & Broadcast TV, FTTx, Hospitality-TV and DOCSIS 3.1. For the new requirements in multimedia networks, ASTRO introduced a modular, configure-as-you-grow concept for DOCSIS 3.1, 1.2 GHz multimedia amplifiers. In co-operation with Panasonic, ASTRO offers an easy to install and easy to maintain linear IPTV system, ideal for the operation in hotels, hospitals and similar networks.
